Dr. Andrew Mercer co-owner
Dr. Andrew Mercer Dr. Mercer has been recognized as Windsor’s Best Chiropractor and Acupuncture Provider via Windsor Community votes 3 years running.
Dr. Mercer was born and raised in Windsor Ontario, he studied at the University of Windsor in Human Kinetics obtaining his B.H.K. (Hons) as well as Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic.
Dr. Mercer is an evidence based, patient centered practitioner who is committed to lifelong learning and ensuring his patients best interests are his number one priority. He uses his extensive knowledge of the body’s anatomy and biomechanics to create a customized, evidence based treatment plan for each patient.
Dr. Mercer has additional training in TPI, acupuncture, dry needling, electro-acupuncture, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue therapy, cupping, athletic taping, peripheral nerve entrapments and Athletic Movement Assessment. He combines this knowledge with his drive and passion to ensure his patients’ can unlock their potential.
Dr. Mercer has always had a passion for giving back to his community by working with various surrounding teams including the Windsor Spitfires and AKO Fratmen.
Outside of the clinic you can find Dr. Mercer being very active playing multiple sports, walking his dogs Indie and Bodhi, and travelling the world with his Wife.
Coach Lance Cosgrove co-owner
Coach Lance, a winner of Windsor Community Votes multiple times over the last 15 Years.
Lance Cosgrove is a highly accomplished and dedicated professional in the field of health and fitness, with a diverse range of expertise and experiences. He attended the four-year Human Kinetics program at the University of Windsor, and he is a Certified Strength Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Certified Exercise Rehab Specialist and Certified Nutrition & Wellness Specialist. Lance has demonstrated his commitment to excellence by obtaining various additional certifications including Kettlebell Level 1&2 Certification, KBell-TRX Fusion Certification, Schwinn Spin Group Fitness Certification, ViPR Instructor Certification, TRX® Group Rip® Training Course (L1) Certification, among others. He is also well-versed in emergency training, holding certifications in First Aid, CPR & AED.
Lance has garnered extensive experience in the fitness industry through various roles. He is the Owner and Head Strength Coach of Apex Performance and Wellness, a comprehensive high-performance and physical rehabilitation center based in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. With a strong emphasis on communication and internal referral systems, Lance and his team aim to provide the best care and support for their clients, helping them achieve their fitness and rehabilitation goals.
In addition, Lance has made significant contributions as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Windsor Lancers while attending the University of windor and currently for GPAR Canada, where he has been instrumental in guiding individuals towards their athletic targets. He is also the Owner Operator of Totally Limitless Conditioning Athletics and Fitness, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and his dedication to promoting a healthy lifestyle within the Windsor community.
Throughout his career, Lance has also held positions such as a Strength Coach & Fitness Instructor at Studio-Fitness and PhysioFit in Windsor, Ontario. He has adeptly managed various responsibilities, including exercise rehabilitation, personal training, sport performance training, fitness screening assessments, and group fitness classes, thereby assisting clients in achieving their optimal performance levels while remailing injury and pain free.
Prior to his current roles, Lance served as a Fitness Instructor at the University of Windsor, St. Denis Center, where he designed and led various fitness classes, demonstrating his ability to inspire and motivate participants through high-energy training sessions. He also worked as a Student Physical Therapist at the Greenshield Sport Therapy Clinic, gaining valuable experience in providing acute, chronic, and preventative treatment for the Windsor Lancers Football Team.
With his extensive knowledge, diverse skill set, and a passion for promoting wellness and physical fitness, Lance Cosgrove continues to make a significant impact in the field of human kinetics and health, empowering individuals to lead healthier and more active lives.
Kiana Flood RMT
Meet Kiana Flood, a Registered Massage Therapist. While previously achieving her Bachelors of Human Kinetics with Distinction in Movement Science at the University of Windsor, Kiana quickly developed a passion for body mechanics and sports rehabilitation. This was ultimately the catalyst in continuing her education at Canadian College of Health and Science Technology.
Kiana is committed to her career and aiding her patients in their health and wellness journey by offering a multitude of modalities and creating individualized treatments. She is eager to continue her education through evidence-based research in order to optimize patient care and long-term goals.
During Kiana’s spare time, you can find her in the dance studio, where she shares her passion for movement and artistry with her students and the community. Other interests include travel, coffee, family, and her cat Thomas.
Kia Peters, RD
Registered Dietitian specializing in inflammation, digestive health, mental and physical performance optimization, and age-related disease prevention and management.
Kia was born and raised in Leamington, ON and completed her studies at Western University and Brescia University College in London, ON. Prior to becoming a dietitian, Kia pursued Medical Sciences and completed a Master’s degree in Physiology and Pharmacology where she studied cardiovascular and metabolic health. Kia discovered her passion for food and nutrition after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and seeing the positive effect that an anti-inflammatory diet and lifestyle had on her disease.
She takes an intensive research-based approach to help people unlock the potential of food and works collaboratively with clients to develop a nutrition care plan that is completely personalized to them. When Kia isn’t working at Apex she enjoys weight-training, being active outdoors, and experimenting in the kitchen to develop new recipes.

Jonathan Lam (Hons).BHK. MSc.PT
Jon, a physiotherapist was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. He completed his studies at the University of Windsor, achieving an Honours’ Bachelors of Human Kinetics degree in Movement Science. Shortly after he graduated from the Masters of Science in Physiotherapy program at Queens’ University in Kingston, Ontario. Throughout his life, Jon has played a multitude of sports including football and participating in track & field. He has been practicing as a Physiotherapist since 2022. During his time at Queens’, Jon has accumulated plenty of experience working with doctors and surgeons in an outpatient setting and with pre- and post-op orthopedic patients, which include a multitude of conditions such as joint replacements and muscle repairs.
Jon enjoys an active approach to working with his patients. He incorporates exercise using evidence-based treatment guidelines and recommendations to guide his individualized treatment plans, along with manual therapy. He has always had a passion for helping others regardless of their functional levels. He takes pride in being able to help each and every one of his patients to the best of his ability. In his spare time, Jon enjoys working out, traveling to different areas of the world and loves conversing about sports of all kinds!
Dr. Bruno Mucci

Dr. Mucci completed his studies at Western University and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
He applies his extensive training in diversified joint manipulation and mobilization, purposeful rehabilitation, acupuncture-Integrated Needling, and soft tissue release techniques to provide you with effective, individualized care.
With a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, cell physiology, and biomechanics, Dr. Mucci offers movement-based solutions tailored to your symptoms. He empowers you with the knowledge needed to maximize your biopsychosocial health.
Aiming to teach you how to move better, Dr. Mucci leverages his rehabilitative post-surgical, neurological, and musculoskeletal experience to facilitate your return to sports, work, or personal hobbies safely and effectively. His interdisciplinary approach reflects his true passion for aiding others.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Mucci enjoys staying active, competing in local sports, and spending quality time with his family. Dr. Mucci looks forward to helping you achieve optimal health and well-being through dedicated, personalized chiropractic care.
Jessica Strilchuck RMT
Jessica is a graduate of the Canadian College of Health Science and Technology, and holds specialized training in Cupping, IASTM and Kinesiology Taping. Jessica also attended the North American School of Podology, where she received a specialization in various foot-related injuries and treatments. Jessica takes a holistic and patient-focused approach with a sports concentrated clientele. She integrates advanced techniques to support athletes in injury prevention, recovery, and performance enhancement. Her dedication to ongoing professional development ensures that her clients receive the most up-to-date and effective treatments.
Beyond her clinical work, Jessica has contributed to the education of future massage therapists by teaching in the Massage Therapy Program at the Canadian College for three years. Her expertise extends to specialized courses, having taught functional cupping and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) techniques to fellow RMTs for four years.
Her dedication and passion in the field has been recognized with numerous accolades, including being named Windsor Essex’s Top RMT for three consecutive years (2021-2023). Additionally, Jessica has been honoured with the Community Top Choice Award, reflecting her impact on her patients and community.
